Shimano SPD-SLR Road Cleats

One platform, four cleats: SPD-SLR cleats for Shimano's new Dura-Ace PD-R9300 and Ultegra PD-R8200 road pedals.

Choose the float that suits your biomechanics and riding style. The low-stack CL-SL100, CL-SL110 and CL-SL120 are up to 22% lighter than their SPD-SL equivalents and give simpler lateral positioning; fore-aft adjustment depends on the range available in your shoe.

• CL-SL100 (Red): fixed, 0° float, for the most direct power transfer and a completely locked-in feel
• CL-SL120 (Blue): 2° float with a front pivot, balancing efficiency with a little movement
• CL-SL110 (Yellow): 6° float with a centre pivot, for more comfort and less joint stress (supplied with SPD-SLR pedals)
• CL-SL130 (Grey): floating, with a wide mounting range, to help riders move to SPD-SLR on most non-Shimano three-bolt road shoes and fixed-mount outsoles. It doesn't give the lower stack height or weight saving of the other three

Compatibility

SPD-SLR cleats work only with SPD-SLR pedals; they are not backward compatible with SPD-SL pedals. They fit existing Shimano SPD-SL road shoes (riders on shoes such as the RC703 and RC503 keep the adjustment range of their shoe), but the full benefit comes when SPD-SLR shoes, cleats and pedals are used together, such as the S-Phyre RC9 (RC910).
