The S-Works Tarmac SL9 LTD – Built for Legends celebrates the Tarmac's unrivalled winning legacy. It's the fastest road bike Specialized has ever made, finished in an exclusive colourway with a custom blacked-out SRAM RED AXS groupset, red brake calipers and unique details throughout.

Only 199 individually numbered bikes are being made worldwide. Each one pairs the 687g FACT 12r carbon frame with deep Roval Rapide Sprint CLX wheels and the integrated Roval Rapide cockpit, for a 6.6kg race bike that's as rare as it is fast.

Time to Finish

Tarmac SL9 was developed around one metric: how quickly it gets you to the finish line. To prove it, Specialized built the most comprehensive road race simulations it has ever run.

The result: Tarmac SL9 would have made Demi Vollering 14 seconds faster on the final stage of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes – the difference between heartbreak and history.

Aero Where It Matters

Tarmac SL9 is the most aerodynamic road race bike Specialized has ever tested, saving around 4 watts. Every tube was re-sculpted for real World Tour race speeds, building on lessons from the Tarmac SL8.

A slimmer Speed Sniffer, dropped down tube and new Flow Fork clean up the air at the front, while the Win Fin seat tube and a re-engineered Aero Post take care of the rear.

At 687 grams, the S-Works Tarmac SL9 frame stands alone at the top of the aero road category.

Complete bikes weigh around 6.6kg, including deep Roval Rapide wheels and the integrated Rapide cockpit – made possible by Flow State Design, first pioneered on the Aethos.
