So Light, It's a Crime

Aethos 2 is the lightest road bike in its class, thanks to Flow State Design. It started with a simple insight: frames 'breathe' under load, and that rhythm shows exactly how force moves through them.

Specialized fed that into its supercomputer and evolved the tubes into sculpted forms, where shape itself delivers stiffness. The result is a lighter frame and a more perfect ride.

Geometry and Fit, Perfected

Specialized refined the Aethos 2 geometry using data from more than 100,000 Body Geometry bike fits, creating a Performance Endurance position that works for more riders than ever.

Climb faster, descend harder and ride longer, with precise handling in a more versatile, confidence-inspiring package.

More Clearance, No Compromise

Aethos 2 clears 35mm tyres with ease, so you get smoother, faster rides, more grip and more roads to explore.

That kind of upgrade usually adds weight. Not here: with its most optimised layup yet and every detail re-engineered, no gram was safe from the Specialized Science Club.

Built for the Love of the Ride

Aethos 2 was built by breaking racing's rules. Free from aero constraints, Specialized focused purely on ride feel: responsive, supple and sublime.

The result is a bike that disappears beneath you, whether you're chasing a climb, flowing down a descent or simply enjoying a long day out.
