Follow up fittings are for existing bike fit clients only. We suggest booking in for a follow up 12-18 months after your original session. This might be fast tracked if you have purchased a new bike.

Custom insoles for pain free cycling
We exclusively use Sidas Custom Pro insoles at Velo Edge. The Sidas Pro insole has been developed with the WorldTour race team, XDS Astana. They are light & stiff, providing the perfect platform for power delivery through every pedal revolution you make. All custom insole sessions are led by Matt Hallam. Matt has made insoles for some big names in pro cycling, the Yates brothers & Tom Pidcock have all been clients of his.

Looking for a new pair of cycling shoes? Start with our new shoe fitting service to find a perfect fit. We currently hold stock from Lake, Quoc, Specialized & Shimano. We can also order in specific sizes & widths if needed. The session cost is refundable if you purchase a set of shoes from us.

Yes, we will send your client file & Dartfish analysis post fit. This can sometimes take a few weeks to process.
Unfortunately, the discount is only valid on the day of the fit.
This is where we position-match an additional bike to your optimal fit data. It costs £45 (excluding components) & takes around 45 minutes to complete.
If we have fitted new TT extensions then the bike would require additional workshop time for recabling. This is not something we can offer on the day of the fit & would be an additional cost on top of the fit price.
Yes, it can be a big part of optimising your riding comfort. We will start by measuring the size, width & arch length of both feet. From there we can refine shoe choices that will offer the best fit for your feet metrics. We hold stock of Lake, Quoc, Specialized & Shimano shoes. All of which are available to try on during the fit.
Testing saddles on our Purely Custom jig is quick & easy. Allowing more time to find the perfect saddle for you. We hold stock of Selle Italia, Selle San Marco, Specialized, Gebiomized, PRO & Prologo saddles. All our test saddles are available to purchase too.
Yes, we stock a range of components at the Velo Edge studio. This often allows us to complete most of the adjustments on the day of the fit. We can also order in specific parts if they are required. We stock Deda & ZIPP finishing kits.
Once we have achieved your perfect bike fit on the Purely Custom jig, we can then turn our attention towards your bike. Positional adjustments are made to match the bike as close to the final jig position as possible. If the bike requires different components in order to achieve the optimal riding position then we will make relevant suggestions. We can often complete most of the adjustments on the day of the fit but in some cases you will need to leave the bike at the studio. This is relevant for more workshop intensive jobs such as a handlebar swap, crank length adjustment or recabling.
Sessions usually take 45 minutes to complete. We add-on an extra 15 minutes if heel stabs are used. If you require an additional pair of insoles, then an extra 30 minutes will be added onto the session time.
